I'm just reading this article that compares Java (hedgehog) with OCaml (fox). Mostly, I like this article due to it's nice picture of a hedgehog.

This remember me to a story that I was told as a child. If I remember correctly, it's about a hedgehog and a bunny. They make a foot race, but the hedgehog is so intelligent that his woman-hedgehog waits at the destination and as the bunny cannot distinguish her from her husband, he thinks that the hedgehog was actually faster (which can't be as bunnies are faster). This proves that hedgehogs are actually very intelligent, and I really like them more than foxes. The conclusion therefor is, that Java must be a bunny and Ruby a hedgehog, and OCaml can be a fox if you like :). Did you know that foxes cannot kill hedgehogs?
