Lately I’ve discovered GraphThing, a nice free program that makes it easy to generate graphs often used in computer science. It has some predefined graphs to choose from, but you can also create your own graphs. It has functions to check for connectivity or eulericity, it can find the shortest-path, do breadth or depth first search and more.

When installed, call gt from the command line.
